Zen textures

charcoal rubbing from Zen's wood deck... I love the patterns I was able to capture using this medium.

I realize this media is interesting from another standpoint as well, charcoal is ashes of trees, wood is cut from trees and paper is made from pulp made from sawdust and recycled paper material.(this paper is made of recycled material)

These charcoal wood grain patterns will be framed and put in my studio, eventually.
